Guys, we could analyze this Make VS. Make thing to death or until I barf up a sawdust sandwich with a side of slaw. I agree with Mr. Turk that it's a personal preference thing without discounting other's tastes and desires. Run what ya brung! Right now, I desire to belch up some grass clippings because that stomach bile goes down alot smoother the second time around! And you? And them? And everbody else?

A change is definitely needed here. Soooooooo
My wife and I took our car out this weekend to a little hot rod get-to-gether in Brisbane,CA. It was wonderful, weather was great, people were great and you know, I sure do like the early 50's Corvettes. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Looks short doesn't it?
I suppose one can install a shifter of their choice. I am not sure if it comes with any, so it would be a guess on my part.

LOL,,,my guess is there is no tranny in the car, certainly no motor! The gear shift is hanging underneath, no doubt someone "testing fit" and all that.

My BDR was built in South Africa so it is the best. Yup, that's how I think. South African cars rule. Shelby's going there, gotta be the best. After reading the initial post, it just sounds like someone justifying the higher price for his SPF when comparable cars are being sold for less. Which in fact there have been discussions on price already. Like equip a BDR with everything that the SPF comes with standard and you have very minimal difference in price. Did I tell you my BDR was made is South Africa, yes South Africa. That's why I bought it. B/c it was made in South Africa you know where SPF's are made. It must be as good or better. Whatever.

I think it may be a case of Engine and Tranny delete option?
