Hmmm... this "Eleanor" has a '1967 Mustang VIN, it was not manufactured by Sanderson Sale/Unique Perfiormance so it won't be in the SAAC Registry --- which means: its a Replica of a Replica!!
Look at the Shelby Data Plate on the fender wall. This car will show up somewhere my friend in somebodys garage and be represented as a Shelby. This will happen well before any of these cars are included in the SAAC Registry. For the kind of money these things are being advertised for it is just a matter of time before the real replicas vs the fake replicas take on a new meaning. The ones that have been tauted as selling for big dollars have exceeded what the actual "Real" Shelby Mustangs are selling. The irony of it is that the car never existed outside of Hollywood and Shelby had absolutly nothing to do with the creation of the car other than his name. The girls on the other hand are probably not replicas and would make any car look good even my Toyota Camry. If they were included I would bid.
