My Hunter weighed 2485 with 3/4 tank of fuel(about 12gallons). Engineer Ed put his Live Axle FFR on the same scale on the same day and he was about 200# less.
The engine is a Iron Head 302 with a Tremec 3550 and a McLoed bellhousing. The Tremec is about 50# heaver than Ed's T-5 and the Mcloed is about 25# more than his aluminum T-5 bell. The Wheels are Crager SS wheels which probably weigh about 8# each more than the typical 17" wheels that Ed was running. I would bet the body and inner tub on my Hunter is close to the weight of the FFR body and inner aluminum but My hood and trunk are fully lined so that probably adds about 40# over his FFR. He did not have hood hinges and his rear hinges are probably about 10# less than my hinge and support tubes. I also have a 16 gauge floor pan vs the FFR aluminum floor pan add 50#
Here is a rundown
Tremec vs T-5 add 50#
McLoed vs aluminum bell add 25#
4 heavy wheels x 8# add 24#
Hood and trunk liner add 40#
6ga steel floor vs aluminum add50#
Trunk and hood hinges add15#
That adds up to about 204# which is about how much lighter his car is than mine.

I have heard that the EM body is very thick and very heavy. Me and my 14 year old son could pick up the Hunter body by ourselves with me getting the heavy end. My guess is it was about 200# sans the hood, trunk and doors.
