Like Chaplin, I too bought a small mirror that attaches with a suction cup. Easy on, easy off and can be positioned where you want it.
I also found at Pep Boys a convex lense, the same diameter as the fender mirror. It attaches with sticky tape and greatly increases your field of vision.
