Default Help me out :)

Hey everyone... just joined the forums.
ok let me tell you my story.
for some time now i have been wanting to rebuild a 1969 Chevy Camaro, and about a week ago i was all ready to buy one, intill i found out they made kits for these cars.

Now i know you guys are a bit buyest, but i think the right way to go is to do the roadster first.

i have been doing a bit of research and i think im gonna go with a FFR 65 Mark II Roadster.

Now my question is. Is this a Good idea? I'm planing on doing everything my self. exept for the few thing i cant like painting and stuff. and also if you guys can give me an idea of how much money im looking at from start to finish?

I live in Canada, so im not sure FFR would deliver , but i would probably go pic it up no problem. i have herd that the FFR has a bit more leg room wich would be needed seeing as how im 6'4".

If you guys could give me any sites and stuff it would be great!

thanks guys!

i am 6"4 and i have ffr--i had to have the drivers seat set-up for
my size and its great--the foot room in the pedal box is roomy.
if you have a seat that comes up off of the floor to high your knees will hit the dash.
best of luck
dave

Quork,

I have driven old muscle cars, Mustangs and Camaros. They much safer and much more practical cars. Compared to a Cobra, they are kinda boring. A Cobra will take over your life. You'll decide where to go out to eat based on being able to park where you can watch the car.

It is theroitcally possible to build a FFR Cobra for under $20K.

Paul
