Let me follow up on Franks post with a few comments of my own (I know everyone is on the edge of their seats). I met Rob and Steve at the car show at Dado's in Brasselton today. Rob is anxious to host a non-denominational Cobra event or two at his place. Sounds like we've got a Cobra shop up here in the north east part of town. It was a beautiful day for a show and our area (which included my Unique, a CAV GT 40, SPF Cobra and SPF Daytona Coupe) was the most hopping.
Here are a few pics of the event:

Another view of Rob's Coupe. He let me jump in and fire up the Roush 402. I was amazed at how refined the interior is. It's finished out very well.

The GT 40 was very slick as well. Very nicely finished. This car won spectator's choice out of a lot of nice cars.

Just bringing this post back to the front page so the Atlanta guys will get a chance to read it (and witness my limited photographic skills).

Sounds cool. Is there secured parking there ? I mean, could I park my race crap there prior to the event ?Makes it easier to coordinate "move-in".
Nice to have another port in a storm, and I will check out the action for sure. Likewise, I hope to see some of the Cobra guys in the pits drinking Cokes from my cooler so that I don'e get sugar poisoning.
I even have some raw oysters left over in my car from Savannah, with sauce !

Tony
That coupe of Robs looks sensational. I'm envious.
Had a quick look at one at Costa MesaCal. at SPF. there. Lance took me across town and showed me the SPF coupe there. It was just a remarkable car with such a high standard of completion/finish.
Cheers
Bernie

Bernie, Rob let me jump in and fire her up. I was really impressed with the interior finish, quality of seats, headliner, console, roll up windows etc. It looked so "factory". I liked the fact that the fenders have liners and the dual exhaust pipes on each side that are cut into the body. Very nice! I'm sure it will keep up with Atlanta traffic.

How many Atlanta guys plan on making this event? I'm working on my schedule now with the hope of making it. It would be fun to meet and arrive as a group.
TC, JW you guys will be watched and scored for style, tire smoke and drifting get the most points. Major FU's (spins, missed shifts, early braking) will not be scored but enjoyed.
Randy

It is really going to be fun and anybody that does not come is a dummy. It is a ready - to - go car show with all the planning and activities already planned and set up, all you have to do is show up. I'm sure as soon as it is over, someone will suggest we all "get together" somewhere lame, like the "silver hair" gardens or something.
