Exclamation Great Tire News!

I went by Foogert's Tires in Culver City today to get a nail taken out of my Toyo. While I was there, I told them how hard it was to find a set of "H" Rated tires to fit my Cobra. The very nice young lady at the counter took that as a challenge and started going through their catalogs. It took her about half an hour to come up with a new tire produced by a new company (in the US). It's called Maxxis. They have a model made for light trucks that's "H" rated to 130 mph. They come in a bunch of 15" sizes including 255/60/15, 235/60/15, 245/60/15, 265/50/15 and 295/50/15. This could be the street tire we have all been waiting for!

You can see them here: http://www.maxxis.com and the model is MA-S1 Marauder. They look pretty good, too.

I will buy a couple to replace my worn rear tires soon. But if any of you are desparate for a set of "H" rated street tires that fit 15" Cobra rims, go for it. It could be that our prayers have been answered.

If anyone has input on this tire or this company (Famous for bicycle tires) let us know here.

Paul
