Talking Shelby FE Installed in SPF 1696 - Pics

Hi all!

After 10 months and a VERY long winter, Craig Aylsworth has installed CSX401 into SPF 1696. It is a Shelby 427FE aluminum block, dual Holley 650s, 462 ci stroker from Southern Automotive. A few more days and it should be on the road.

Take a look:

Thanks to all here at CC who have made this wait much more enjoyable. The comments, the banter, and the words of advice and encouragement have been, and always will be, greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much,

Steve,

OOOhhh Baby, OOOhhh Baby!!! No more sitting in the garage going RRRRRRRRRRRMMMMMM RRRRRRRRRRRRMMMMMMM!

Wow! Those look like professional photos! Looks like you or Craig polished off all the drool marks.

The motor is gorgeous, the car is gorgeous; I hope they exceed your expectations!

I enjoyed meeting you folks and hearing about your car at SSR. Next year...

Lowell

Steve,
The car is really LOOKING GOOD! My only advice to you is to buy stock in your tire maker of choice- NOW!!
I wish I had a few years ago!

Steve ,

Looks great, as a FE should, have you had the chance to check hood clearance with the K&N filters? I could not get the clearance with mine , if it works I'll have to call Craig to see what he did.
Good luck Tout
