Superformance questions

I'm getting a bit confused and wonder if somebody can help...
1). Are ALL of the Superformance Cobras built with the "extended/wider" footbox? If not, what chassis number did they start with this feature?
2). How "easy" would it be to convert one of the above Cobras with a small block to FE block installation? Does the whole driveline shift back or is it just a matter of new motor mounts/front end "stuff"... Would this be worth the effort, or would I be....
