Use a brier (sp) a small rubber roller to roll out the windex. The roller is better than a squeege because you can apply greater pressure without pulling on or scraching the meatball.
Let them sit over night.
If on a leading edge curve or you have to cut for a body pannel you can use hair gell like the kids use to spike their hair.
