My 65 Tennessee tag!

Since Washington state now allows you to re-title/register your car as the year it represents, and you can run a vintage plate, I picked up mine last weekend.
It's a 63 plate with 66 tabs. The plate is AYY 427. I'm very happy with my find. |
My plate is COBRA 502 (NY)

I was able to get 66KOBRA recently for my newly purchased car in Alabama. I went to the tag office with a list of 30 tags I liked in order of their preference. This was 16th in the list. Thanks to everyone for all of the suggestions.

My 65 Roadster is 45YRWT. Its true statment, 45 year wait. Current project is a 65 non donor Coupe. if I don t finish wiring its tag will read ZIPTIE.

I decided to pay subtle homage to AC's contribution (and the rest of our British friends who like to claim credit for the Cobra!) when choosing my plates. Plus, these seem to cut down on any speculation on which motor resides under the hood. I usually don't like custom plates but couldn't resist. And yes, I have since changed the quick jacks!
