Hi Cal,
The stable mate to the Shelby is an SPF GT-40 painted in Gulf colors.......never did have an ERA. The GT-40 is a Flintstones car right now as I just this week got the ring gear and fifth gear to rebuild the ZF transaxel the way I want it. The ZF is new but I wanted a 3:77 ring gear instead of the 4:22 or 4:56 they normally come with, I also changes out the fifth gear to have the engine running at 2300 - 2400 RPM at highway cruising speeds.
The engine is a dart aluminum block pushed to 427 cu.in. with Webers on the top of it......
Later this year I will be able to save shoe/foot bottoms for my passengers and I and stop the Fred and Barney act.
