Default Car Lift

I bought a Stinger Lifts back in 95 and have nothing but good things to say about it.

Great powder coating, no chips or scratches after years of use. I'd suggest getting the "diaper" option. This will keep the upper car from ever dripping fluid (like Brake!) onto the lower car if using for storage. Also there is a nice welded channel used for placing a jack under the car. It slides in between the ramps and I use it all the time. At the time I bought mine they offered a sheet metal pan that you could slide around to where ever you need it. I use it when changing oil.
The only other "option" I was tempted with was a set of wheels so you can roll it outside. Really handy if you want to take it outside and clean the bottom. This might not be an issue but my English cars like to distribute rust preventative when I drive them. I borrow a set sometimes so don't have to store them.

One thing to look out for with the lower cost ones from overseas, among other things, is the quality of the rollers/pullies. All the pullies on this product have bearings and not bushings. There have been threads in the past on the Corvette forums of the cheaper ones breaking and leaving the car stuck. As with everything else in life you get what you pay for.

It came to the trucking company but I was able to put all the parts into a Suburban and take it home. Assembly was very easy. Also you don't have to bolt the 4 posters to the floor.

Hmm and don't forget to order the bar stool so you can sit comfortably and work under the car
Good luck with your purchase.
Richard
