you can see my 2 lifts in my photo gallery . the black gt 350 clone and spf pic shown on the 4 post lift is under a 9-1/2 foot ceiling . while i cant lift the car to max hoist ht due to the ceiling i can fit my 57 bird, spf, 65 mustang or a taurus sized car or new mustang under neath . so, it is not that limiting . however, garage door openers must not be overhead, ceiling lights to the side as well and antennaes cannot be higher than the roof of the cars .
for full hoist lift my center stall is 11-1/2 feet and i can lift a panel truck 6 feet into the air and clear .
just built a new house with 10-1/2 foot ceilings which limits my ability to lift any of the 3 cars on either of the 2 hoists to all but the top notch on the hoist, so i miss the final 4 inches of lift - no biggie . 11 feet would be excellent for almost anything ya want to lift . Bill
