When Shelby allows his name to be associated with something, he is putting his name and reputation on it. It may be "licensing", but your name and reputation are on the line.
If you allow your name to be used and then retract it when things don't go well and well meaning people are left holding the bag, you can only go to the well so many times.
Amy, it is things like this that upsets folks about Carroll. We all love and admire what he did in the sixties. But since then it has been one lawsuit after another. One half baked deal after another. Not enough win/win situations. Plenty of Win/Lose situations.
I own a Superformance. Shelby came to an agreement with them, but only after a ton of dumb legal expenses which hurt everyone.
I know my postings here have been pretty "in your face". I don't usually like to talk that way. I'd like to have a reason to support Shelby American. I'd like to have a reason to associate myself with anything the Organization does. I'd like to admire Shelby for his current actions, not just the sixties. But there is no reason to. Stuff like the Unique Performance Eleanor deal is just one more straw.
Go back to basics and treat folks like people. Get rid of the lawyers. Act nice. Treat customers with respect.

Jack , I don't disagree with, I just can't comment on this, I am not on this issue. And due to the current issues it's not my place, I dont run licensing.
On the Quantum question, they are not related to Unique performance, They are a separate company doing business with SAI as a mod center extension for us.
