Bill feel free to do what ever, make sure you make it clear, I meant "with you".

You win, I have decided you can have the "snide banter award"

Amy,

As with anything I've ever chosen to forward to "my friends", it will be made quite clear, and quite in context to what was said, who said it, and how it was received and perceived by not only myself as a long time Shelby enthusiast/supporter (maybe a check of contributions to various Shelby related causes and groups is in order), but as a shareholder in SAI as well.

As for your comment about "snide banter", my comments and my posts are anything but snide. Perhaps a bit on the eye opening side, but always straight forward and to the point. Politically correct be damned, I call it exactly like I see it. There need not be a winner or a loser in a frank discussion or conversation (in person or on line), does there?

Again I wish you well.

Bill S.

Quantum? In Farmers Branch?? I have never heard of them. I wonder if the are related somehow to Unique Performance........

"Unique Performance Concepts is a joint venture between Unique Performance and the Tecstar Automotive Group, a subsidiary of Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide (Nasdaq: QTWW)."

I looked and qtww and found no mention of this in the news section. CERTAINLY CS would not put some sort of shell game out there.....would he? I also googled Quantum Performance Texas and found nothing other than the SA news release. Time will tell. but I DO know where an empty building is in Farmers Branch, and it's all set up to Mustang work...was barely used by the last tenant.

I was standing there as a Ford guy at SEMA asked Quantum if they are related to Unique and the guy said they are in no way whatsoever connected. They're cool.

Bill, your comments sound threatening (and rude) to Amy from where I'm sitting, like you said, just calling it the way I see it.

Bill,

In this very rare occasion, I have to agree with Ernie, and we know you. I have to give Amy props for hanging in there when people are piling on.

Bill, I call them as I see them, your first post to me was an attack, you might have meant it another way, I think it was written derogatorily, my opinion and perception.

This post I feel is threatening.Your friends, your contributions and your stock, this info has no bearing in this conversation, unless it's a threat. I don't know you and in a heated exchange on this site as I try to talk to members you are threatening. Again My opinion/ my perception.

I call it as I see it as well, I will also be showing these posts to people as the President of Shelby,I also have Friends as well and I am also a stockholder. I am done with this conversation.

I wish you well

Amy

Amy,

I'm truly sorry you see anything I've posted as a threat, I have never posted any threats, insinuated, wrongly perceived or otherwise. I again make it known that I have been a long term supporter of Shelby to the point of donating money to his charities, donating my time (more valuable in certain automotive circles than my money) to nurture his past and his present, and even to the point of investing in SAI as a shareholder, something I was told would be a losing proposition, but I did it anyway. I have more sweat equity and time in Shelby than you, why can I say that, simple, because I did it for the passion (since 1981 officially and far earlier as a grandchild of an ex sales manager for a Shelby dealer in NJ back in the 60's and 70's where my passion for these cars can and will always be attributed to) of it all where you are doing it for the bottom line dollar value (that is why you were brought on board according to public records and PR news releases by SAI) of the company.

Once again and as always, I do wish you well.

Bill S.

Bill, lets agree to disagree, Forums are a bad place for mis-interpeted discusions.

I will say one more thing, I was hired by Carroll to fix his company, I was a friend first, not an employee. I took the job for the man I admired, and his employees and his customers and supporters. I took it with no salary for the first year because there was no money but there was a huge debt and 137 cobras on back order. Carroll had to give me the money to fix it, There was no collateral, no new loans to be had and I had to make sure everyone of those cars were delivered.

On a personal note, I own 9 cars myself, I have been a car girl my whole life, I learned it from my dad, he didn't have much, but one car he treasured and loved which is where my passion comes from, which is in all those printed items you talk about. Not all things are as they appear. I have this passion, I also have this job. Neither seems to be easy right now.

Do you think I would post on this site if I didn't care? I could just as easlily deal with this offline, I could let the post die. It isn't always about the bottomline. Maybejust maybe I want this to workout for all concerned. I am not the normal CEO of a company, I am not a suit, hell I wear sneakers.

Maybe I pre judged you and maybe..... you pre judged me as well

Amy
