Albums in Gallery

hi. I noticed a bit ago the 'album' tab in my gallery.
yea!! thank you very much for adding that.

question. Can I import pics OUT OF my gallery and into the album, or can i just upload from my computer??
I would hate to re-upload all my zillions of pics to get them into the appropriate album, can they be transferred, so to speak?

thanks again for adding the album section.
