powered by ford:
keep the roadster, sell the '96 mustang, and buy a new (or 07) 500.
You won't regret the decision!!

So far I've talked my way out of my only 'pull over'....
80 mph is perfect cruising speed. Handles ok on the track. Road course better than strip! Need about a mile track to get any traction and build up speed. Altho' forgot to turn off the 'traction control' on the strip runs. Regarding a road course, if the turn isn't too tight it does ok, but i am pretty cautious and didn't push too hard its first time out. Great on the straightaways, after you've got 'er rolling!

Won't drag it anymore, just did it for fun and to say i did it. Probably will do another road course.
But.... for great cruising around, weekend fun car, and 'date car' you can't beat it.
I don't drive it in the rain. Must be a purty day down here in Texas for me to get out! LOVE the AC. love the satellite. (shaker 500 was enough for me when i ordered)
listen to 'oldies' and cruisin' cd's, like the rip chords, and any other hot rod car cd's i can find. Even have a Peter Frampton cd in there right now.....
Have over 3000 miles, and have not noticed any problems with clutch, tranny, but have to say I probably wouldn't know what was wrong with it if it did.... Other than, "clutch doesn't work" or whatever.
The clutch takes some getting used to at first. What somebody posted above. Actually 'killed it' by stalling a couple of times. Clutch takes a lot of travel. Don't know another word for what i'm describing. Am used to it now, tho'.
The backseat holds my two girls, and the passenger my son w/out a license yet. Pretty large trunk, so far fits all the junk i've needed to put in it so far.
Beginning to find a nice variety of hotwheels, matchbox's, and 1:18's etc to add to my garage collection.
Probably the car i'll keep the longest out of my 3 toys.
oh yes. Have let hubby drive it, once on this one.

ps. shifting in the 500 is very exciting! Hearing everything grumble and pull is quite exhilirating.
oh yes. another thing. I have heard if you want to lower it, (which i would like to do) it is more complicated than just 'lowering' the springs. There appears to be a good bit of suspension work that needs to be done. oh, and putting on an exhaust system would be perfect and make the car sound even better! That's also something i'd like to do. I think my Cobra mechanic, Rob, at KCR in Plano can do both but i'm not sure.
