Curious why use the complete 03-04 drivetrain? I owned a 2004 SVT Cobra w/ CAI / Magnaflow exhaust. Awesome engine that was underrated by Ford, the typical dyno of a factory config was 365 RWHP. That is what mine was ..after the CAI/Magnaflow ..457 BHP, 398 RWHP. Can't argue the engine but why the 6-spd transmission and the SVT IRS? The transmission was geared too high for the SVT (w/ 3.54 Rear end). I never used 6th ..which cruised at minimum of 65 mph (and not fun). 5th was good, but all of the fun was in 2nd-4th. 1st was difficult to control wheel hop w/ SVT IRS and stock 275 tires. In a Cobra ...IMO ...the transmission is too much ...and the Ford IRS is a compromise. IMO. Good luck with the project, just wanted to mention my experience w/ the transmission and SVT IRS. W/ that said ...if I had the $ ...I would have kept the '04 SVT ...AWESOME in a straight line....loved the whine of the supercharger

I have a 2003 Cobra and my SPF car. I think a combination of the two is a GREAT idea.

Sergio thinks so too! He DID one!
