Default What's it worth?

There is a Cobra for sale on the west coast that is near completion. Custom built frame , Hi tec body. Needs paint and by the way it has a chevy motor. Any guesses as to what it's value?

Not a clue. A lot more info and some pictures would help. If the body is a Hi Tech that's a good sign. The chevy engine isn't, in my opinion. There are many folks that like the chevy in a cobra but it hurts the re-sale value as does an automatic tranny.

Default What's it worth con't

Problem is the photos he's sent me are 3-4 years old. He says he lost interest. I guess my biggest concern is how much will it drive the value down without Ford power? This guy is about 200 miles from me so it's not a hop around the block to see it. Photos show a clean gelcoat body.Currie Bros 9" rear with a Muncie Trans. Clean engine. No interior shots. He wants 22k. Motor is a zz-1 with 4000mi.

I would consider 22K way to high. See if he'll sell it without the engine for 12K. If so go look or look then make the offer
