Oh definitely. It's certainly a major accomplishment with formidable performance capabilities, and with all the aids, much easier to drive fast. If you put a rookie in a GT-R vs. Z06 or uber-Porsche, it would be reasonable to predict that the rookie would be faster in the GT-R every time. For pro-drivers, it would likely be a different outcome, if the specs I've read are accurate.

Ernie, it's less likely that the numbers are fudged in this day and age. Most use the SAE-rating system, and there is no fudging. Moreover, understating ruins your bragging rights, which is the essential marketing reason to develop a car like this. That makes no sense. Why would any "supercar" manufacturer care about insurance rates?
