The warranty question stinks also. You either stand behind your product or you don't. Paying another company to warrant your product doesn't instill a lot of confidence.
Just my opinion, which is worth exactly what you pay for it.

Steve,
Thank you for the sage wisdom you impart about who the crooks are around here. Guilty until proven innocent is always an enlighted viewpoint which which casts a flattering light on it's champion.

Unless you searched all of my previous 188 posts I am amazed how, within the timeframe of your 21 posts, you are able to formulate the rather vocal opinion that I am an ass-covering, ass- kissing weasel.

"I was trying to avoid the concept that enough negative pressure would force World to "do the right thing". (See pavulon vs. ERA, 9-07) I attempted to do that, or at least have a dialog about it, without any outside pressures or opinions." My post of 2-14.

"I want to let every one know that Charlie, Manowar, and I are talking directly. I personally think that he really does want to help me out."
John's post of 2-16.
If the man who has the grievance believes my crediibility, where do you come off? What experience do you have in customer service?

"Manowar, I did not make my post expecting to get a response from your company let alone to get compensation." John's post of 2-14.
I stumbled onto this thread and began investigating John's first post while interveining posts began the bashing. There was no need for me to reopen a nearly eight-year old can of worms-especially at the risk of looking self-serving.

"As of this date, he is still giving Bill Mitchell plausible deniability by saying he is attempting to work this problem out on his own without company direction or support." You, 3:21 today.
You have NO CLUE of events to date, with or without whom is involved, direction or support.
I'll reinforce John's earlier statement. We have taken this private to resolve it and we'll notify the forum members of the outcome -pro or con. We were in touch as late as this afternoon.

Oh-about your righteous interpretation of warranty policy ethics based on ZERO research: We pay the underwriter a premium on every sold engine when a warranty card is returned within 45 days of invoice.(Roush stipulates 30 days) That's without a claim. For the first 90 days, after the underwriter determines that the claim is a legitimate World defect, (they have found nitrous bottles in trunks) we are financially responsible for parts and labor. For the next 90 we and the insurer split 50-50. For the rest of the term the insurer covers all costs.
No matter who self-insures or contracts out, the terms are exactly the same as Roush or Edelbrock, for example. Neither of those manufacturers pays money to support this web site, inform the membership of new product or answer questions. There, now you know exactly what your warranty terms will be when you buy your Roush.
Now-explain to us how you build 400 engines a year with $hit customer service and a spineless warranty policy.

Having the privilige of a platform on a forum should also come with the requirement that you have had experience with the persons, companys or subject of which you write.

Apologies to the fair-minded members and Mods of the forum and Brent/Jamo/Ron, if you lock it up, please let John post the results of our talks.
