Unsurprisingly, I would replicate CSX2131,
(...well, I already did, pity it`s only 1/12th scale!!!)
...
And just to make life easier, Hawk Cars in the UK actually offer a limited edition version of it!!!
As a close second,(If I had to have a BB!!!) I think it would be the Gumball Rally Cobra, CSX3255 (or also 3243...)
"GUMBALL!!!!!!!"

Small block in a Big Block car (427 body style). Your right, it's a JOKE!
As you point out the 'history' as it concerns the FIA series were small block cars.

nikbj68,
I believe it was first aluminum, then yellow, but what colors were between aluminum, and Guardsman Blue?

nikbj68,
I kind of like the way my life is right now. Doing something like that could jeopordize my chances of breathing.....LOLOLOL
I think I once read the car was RED at one time also? I do remember reading where yellow can be seen in a few spots under the blue.

13 could be right in the ball park. It was at least four different colors in the first year alone!

Hey Computerworks,
Didn't Dave Dralle own CSX3020 early in it's life? Maybe painted yellow with a black X on it?

CSX 3020 is also my favorite. Yup, need Rondels yet. Hence:

I know the gentleman that owns CSX3020 now, but didn't Dralle race it at one time or another years ago?

Jack, maybe you have some of the same photos I have of Dralle racing 3020. Some of mine show the car in the middle of a lurid slide in the dirt at some CA locale. Now why do you think he didn't share THAT photo with the Kirkhams? It's in remarkably sharp focus...

Yes CSX3020 was owned and raced by Dave Dralle. When Dave was last at our shop he gave us a photo of him racing CSX3020 painted yellow with a big black x over the hood. It is a very cool picture.
