You can cut your tunnel and reglass it but make sure it isn't touching the transmission. Another way to achieve more leg room is a dropped foot box I am not sure if Contemporary Cobra's came with them. If it doesn't give Brian a call at Lone Star Classics they use them in their kits, you might have to modify them some to make them work.
