Therefore I used some of your deposit to buy a little alcoholic beverage to wash down the popcorn, and I put the balance on a nice watch. |
I normally go to bed at 11 but this was too good to stop in the middle. Keep it going Lewis when your banishment is over. Chas

500000103 for JBo
7 for Lewis. Close ... real close! Larry |
Maybe he's hoping for a 'late-primary' surge!
|
Yeah, he and whats her name............
|
I know everyone is feeling a little lost with Lewis, so just to make everyone at home in this thread..."Y'all are rednecks." Actually California does have rednecks. They're out there. Lewis is right!

Wow, two hours to read through all of this, but then this DSL link is slower than molasses on a Michigan winter day. This was definitely the most entertaining thing I have read in months, other than some of the GasHole beauties....Living North of Aust and having spent a lot of time in Penang with the boys from the RAF, I haven't met an Aussie that I didn't like though I have met a couple of odd balls in the opal mines. Of course, there aren't any other Americans living in Indo fooling with cobras either (if you graciously accept the 'old girl' as one) so maybe its me. Please let Lewis back in....he reminds me of one of the blighters on Cobra club from the UK spouting on and on about a certain Python made in SriLanka, maybe they are related. Not a dig against a Python, just our man Sid.....I need another Pepsi, I'll be back..

While we are waiting for "the second coming of Lewis" we could tell what Lewis reminds us of....He reminds me of the Peter Sellers movie "The Party". In the opening Peter is a bugler who is shot in battle. Problem is he refuses to die. By the end of the scene BOTH armies are shooting him. Very funny.

For those of you unsure here's some Redneck info: http://boortz.com/more/funny/redneck_pics.html
I think half of these came from around Jacksonville... As far as "Immagrants" go most American settelers were not exactly "the cream of the crop" taking a high risk boat ride across the Atlantic. As to "tribal sensitivity" well, there are probably a few natives that still think taking their picture steals their soul. Barring the recent political correctness, most people make fun of themselves as well as others. Would be awful boring if we were all the same. Acceptance of peoples differences and ideals is one thing, comprehension of them is another. I've found I'm most offended when I'm looking to be offended, so I try not to look.;) |
"I think half of these came from around Jacksonville..."
Easy there Ronbo! I resemble that remark! Actually have"Yukon, Fl" on my birth certificate. If you know where that was/is. (NAS Jax). |
Can't wait till Jamo lets the lion out of the cage and back into the arena, how many more days is it anyhow ??? before the slaughter can resume **) beware as he has had time to sharpen his claws.

So why does your "Investment Musclecars" site have "specialist DEALER" on the top? You can't have it both ways, Lewis. I understand you are still on site suspension so I will wait for your well-thought out and spell checked reply. |
Regarding Rebels original comments......
The main point I believe he was trying to make, was that some of the comments and images especially regarding aboriginals would be considered to be EXTREMELY bad taste - and offensive to all Australians. Regardless of whether used in jest or not. I thought it was particularly unfair to single out his comments, as being some sort of a "spoil sport", when those making such comments certainly are not aware of the "ugly" implications (or else they would not make them). As a rule, Autralians love to take the piss as much (actually more) then anybody, but in this politicaly correct day and age, the line has definately been drawn, and some of the comments (since kindly apologised for) stepped well over it. Rebel was certainly justified in taking some offense - whether it was in the "spirit" of the thread or not. As for Lewis...bring him back!!! :) |

What an amusing thread. |
Alright....................who actually believes Lewis will come back after all of this? Anyone with a solid head on their shoulders would stay away at this point. -But is THAT how we would describe Lewis?
After all the B-slappin' he's taken, I was going to bet that he wouldn't come back here after his "punishment" expired. But then again, this guy has already proven that he simply doesn't know when to quit. Maybe we should take another poll? Will he come back??? Or.........Has he had enough??? |
Wow,
I have to say that from what is posted here I have to agree with everyone that a deal was made and it became a contract when money changed hands. (Right Jamo) If the original deal stipulated 30 days, then on the very first second of the thirty first day the contract goes into default, and the seller keeps the deposit. PERIOD. All I know is I sure as hell will not buy a watch from some clown in Aussiland. NOTE: Of course all our regular Aussies know I am not talking about you guys. :) |
Tomorrow is April Fools Day. Think maybe this was all just a dream?:D

Rebel's comment about the pic was understood by me from the get go, and even he noted that he presumed any infliction of concern was unintentional (which it was...note it is a link to a pic from Google's Images, which are plastered worldwide). The commentary about his concerns with others making remarks is what drew some advise, which he misread. Again, before piling on...folks should take the time to READ and make sure they comprehend before remarking. Rebel and I already exchanged e-mails well before your post, and thus it results in a moot point. :MECOOL: |
Now, and we realize this might be unpopular from a purely entertainment-minded point of view, we are closing the thread.
At its center is a contractual dispute, and Ron and I believe the parties need to be given some space to move forward. Go ahead...throw heat at the Mods for doing so. Always expected, and always accepted as part of the job. |
