I dunno, sounds pretty simple to me. Thirty days to pay the deposit, it wasn't paid, deal is off.
Usually, on an item like that, it's a non-refundable deposit. That is the price to pay for the seller holding the vehicle from other buyers.
I would say if anyone is in the wrong, depends on if there is a contract between the seller and buyer, and what it says.

First of all, don't you dare yell at me.
Second, yes, I wrote deposit by mistake, but my point was that you had a certain amount of time to do something and you didn't do it. It doesn't matter if it's a car sale, a football game, or a pregnacy. Once the time is up, the time is up.
You brought this upon yourself. Deal with it. If you don't like it, you know where the door is. You won't get any sympathy from anyone here.
