State Farm Insurance
I don't understand how you guys are getting insurance for approx. $700.00/year on $50,000.00+ Cobras
I am 62 years old, clean record and it costs me $560.00/6 months for insurance on my 2006 6 cylinder Mustang in Florida.
Limit to 5000 miles/year.
I can live with the mileage as I am in Florida seasonally and only State Farm reconized my Canadian driving record.
All others rated me as a new driver.

I also have my home, rental property, life insurance, long term care insurance, four vehicles, office insurance, etc. with them, thus I get lots of discounts.
Just a single policy for one car would probably cost what you are currently paying for the Mustang.
If you've got more than one insurance policy, try and keep them with the one company that gives you discounts for multiple policies.

You said the magic word "Florida" you pay extra for no fault.
No fault means no matter who caused the accident your insurance pays your vehicle's occupents medical costs. So in effect your punished for crappy drivers. (like un-insured coverage)
Not to metion being from Ohio, people down here drive a lot worse. Somehow in Florida there's a common belief that a yellow light means at least eight more cars can go, there's no difference between yellow and red yield signs, right on red has right of way, a flashing "don't walk" means the pedestrian is fair game (this one's also true in NYC), you may hold up a lane because you changed your mind about turning, and of course the center lane is a handy acceleration ramp.
My insurance doubled when I moved here, when I asked the agent he said "how do people drive here compaired to where your from?".
But I do like driving 15mph over the speed limit, 5mph was asking for it in Ohio...

The replica and the mustang are really apples and oranges. A new mustang is too "daily driver esk" even if you aren't using it as a daily.
I pay less than you for 6 months on 3 vehicles, 2 of which have full coverage 2003 or newer. I'm 25, my wife 22. Neither of us have a single moving violation (recorded, always fight a ticket!!) and both of our houses are also insured through the same carrier as well as my ATV's for theft.
I have USAA now, but had state farm before the change in 2004. State farm was great! I accidentally broke the back window out of my car and had it fixed the very next day and didn't have to pay a dime. I was very satisfied!!

Good point, in a similar manner, the ability and concern of the agent to represent the policy holder with the insurance company, especially if there are any grey areas.
