Default Final Hint

Last hint -- like all Cobra leaks, the leak is nowhere near the puddle that it creates. Think UP, and about three feet away....

Leaking from the remote cans onto the frame then traveling down to the floor.

That's close enough. The leak was coming from the rubber hose that connects the remote reservoirs to the steel lines. The drip trailed down the steel lines until it hit the frame and box area where it dropped. You couldn't even see the damn leak. I found it by wrapping the lines with paper towels right below the reservoirs -- solved it by replacing the faulty "pinch" clip with an old fashioned screw clamp. See below:

This is like the season finale of "Lost". Oh the torture. How long must I endure the blind, armchair speculation of where the juice is coming from? I would guess, but I've had a leak about everywhere there is something wet on the inside. Someone PLEASE guess the right answer so I can sleep.

I had the same issue until I converted all feed lines to SS flex line and AN3 connections. I really hate rubber hoses at this point.

I got a nice third degree burn on my wrist doing that simple repair as well. Not from the primaries, but from the metal tube that runs to the radiator.

WOW !!!!!

You guys are really hyper about all this leak stuff.

My Cobra make spots on the floor all the time and like all good Dogs, Bears, Lions, Tigers, Real MEN, trucks, etc. etc. I figure they are just marking their territory and passage to make sure all that follow know who has been there and whose territory they are trespassing on.

I am pleased to report that I leak more than my Cobra and FE do.... ... but it was a long road to get to that point.
