Looks like when it came time to mount the fans they looked around the shop & all they could find was a scrap piece of Redi-Rack & thought?? well it already has the holes in it so that should make it easy.

I like seeing the red pin strip on pewter...now I know I don't want that on my car.
Looks like the guy selling it is a camera buff. He has some nice angles and zooms on the car (and some that are taken about an inch from the previous shot).

That usually happens when there's a bid retraction for some reason. Either the bidder made a "mistake" and asks to be released from his bid, or the seller decides not to accept the bid for some reason (low bidder feedback score, bidder outside the country, etc).

Steve - At least the ad is factual...it says the car is "unique." No doubt!!

I just saw this car in person last Monday. It's at D&M Motors in Glen Ellyn (just outside of Chicago).
-It's VERY bright..................the pic's don't do it justice.
I went in to look at GT-40's (they have 3 in stock) and this Cobra stuck out like a sore thumb. They also have a Daytona there that is painted bright Orange with White stripes.
-It's also ugly.
These guys are known for some of their strange color combo's. I've seen some SPF's in this place that I thought would never sell because of their color's.
They must sell though, because I'll go in a couple months later and they're gone.
-A lot of strange tastes out there!

I would have thought the color was pea soup green(similar to a pie floater). Maybe it's one of the cars they had before and they just keep repainting them like Old Shel did with the first one.

A really good auctioneer can get you to bid aganist yourself he will work the floor as if you have a bidder going up aganist you but in fact you are the high bid and dont have to do anything.
