I already had a 68 gt500 with a BIG FE so I went with a 5.0 small block with a Kenne Bell Supercharger that get 26mpg highway and a whole lotta torque when you step on the loud pedal

Small block 427, aluminum block and heads. Custom fuel injection. 499 RWHP. 327 rear end. Very streatable combination.

Warmed up small block. Purpose built 408w,F.I., 8.5 compression, crower cam custom ground to match a Garret 93mm ceramic ball bearing intercooled turbo. At 7 lbs boost making 576 rwhp and 556 tq. Coupled with a t56 gets after it pretty good and cruises at 1400 rpm at 70mph in sixth. Good gas mileage around town and on the highway. Not a lot of rumble due to the low compression and turbo matched cam but pretty fun for a small block.

482 cubic inch stroked 427 FE side oiler with 2x4.
Because I love FE engines and nothing, I mean nothing can substitute the torque of a big block. Even stroked Windsors.
