You hang out at the "official" Shelby forum?
Google seems to work for me.

I think Evan is just waiting to see how much "bashing" will go on in the thread and then come back whining about it.
Will CS be there? Yeah right.

Rodknock: So you think I got my facts wrong do you???? I hope you don't look as stupid as you sound. Shelby clearly had involvement with Thunderbolt's design. You don't think it plausible that he might decide to show up for the grand openning regardless of the fact SAAC happens to be there on that same weekend???
OMG!
This place is a scream!!!! ROFLMAO

You sound more stressed than usual. Maybe you should get your mind off of all of this and take your car out for a drive tonight...

Yes, I think you got your facts wrong. You seems to be relying on "plausibility."
No, I don't look as stupid as you think I sound. I don't get involved with insults, maybe you should too.

I am soo sick of the high-school games with SAAC and CSL. (get over it)
I am dumping my SAAC membership and not going to buy any more CSL items, new used or other.
at this rate we should all go petition for Z06 roadsters.

PANAVIA, I feel your pain, it's a mess!
So how should SAAC respond to Shelbys law suit? Give up everything and just go away? Thats what Shelby wants, there in no middle ground here. There is no 'negotiation'. Shelby wants to put them out of business, period, end of story, complete and total destruction. He's even filed for the trademark of the SAAC name!
What would YOU do if some Corp came along and decided to trademark YOUR business name? Shut down YOUR business, completely? Demand all YOUR inventory back claiming the Corp owns it? What part of your inventory is rightfully yours or theirs?
Shelby has lost my respect with this law suit, and that will remain in effect until SAAC prevails and SAI goes away with their dam tail between their legs! I didn't come to this conclusion over night, but through time, carefully studying the issues on both sides. I DID NOT want to believe what Shelby was doing. In the end, logic and reason prevailed. SAI is wrong, WAY wrong and their behaviour is disgraceful.

Whatever, I only hope everyone who turns up on the weekend has a great time and the sun shines. Wish I could be there.
Blessings be upon you all

I might be will to kick in a few bucks for said author to make an appearance at SAAC-33, but I'm afraid he might just take the money and vacation somewhere on the European continent instead.

Thanks Ron for the simple and succint answer. Thats all I wanted to know.
Of course the usual peanut gallery chimmed in with the usual assundry of idiotic comments. Oh, in case the crowd here didn't know there was a thread on SAAC forum dealing with this very issue in which many members were hoping SAI did show up. I also received information from a good source that Shelby was involved to some extent with Thunderbolt Raceway and planned to be there for the openning which is the same weekend as ...yes...SAAC 33.
Boy don't you guys look stupid now.

Don't know if that is the case, but the inaugural event is this weekend with the SVRA Race August 7 - 10.

Ahhhhh...beg to differ counselor.
...other than a limited opening for some 'club' members in prior weeks, Thunderbolt is open now. PDA/NASA has been running the Thunderbolt course yesterday and today.

What happened to the air of love, understanding, tranquility and humility of a prior thread where we all said that Evan is really deep down a wonderful smart guy?
Now we're called the "peanut gallery" and look "stupid"? Hmmm. Look who's calling people names?
Just based upon what I've read in the past several months from the many published sources and prior CS/SAAC history, I would think it will be a cold day in "you know where", before CS attends another SAAC event. Unless they all have decided to drop their lawsuits and smoke a peace pipe.

For someone who's an attorney, he sure does appear to get his facts wrong.
Being a conspiracy theorist, I think he does this "hit and run" in order to create more fodder for the CS lawsuit against SAAC.

OK, here's my latest theory. Carrol Shelby's nom de plume (pen name for those that don't speak French) IS Evan!
