As soon as the real estate market comes back, me and the missus hope to make a quick sale and get out. I have a 'handshake deal' with my boss (who is in FL) that I can work full time from home in NC.....but that could change as Corp IT direction changes daily.
I am completing my last big project in the house now which explains my lack of racing this season. We're making another trek down in November to narrow down our search regardings towns that appeal to us and can get the most for our money. We'd like to be in or near the mountains in wester NC if possible.

. My wife pulled a great job in Hartford so it can't be that bad. My company is transferring me to Harford as well thank god, didn't want to have to look for employment. The mass exodus from your state has also made housing costs attractive...we'll see what happens. Either way it's good to know a few people there. All my friends are here. I have lived in the same town in Upstate New York for 40 years and I am only 41 years old. Funny thing is I was born in New London, CT.
