I used a standard stock car type quick release by Sweet Mfg.
This is one of those things where function is as important as fit. I could have bought a bolt-on unit, but couldn't find one that had a tight spline fit (returned two of them).
The Sweet unit was just that...sweet...but had no bolt-on adapter so I turned a sleeve on the lathe, set the adapter in place, and welded it on permanently.
No slop at all...and very very nice function.
