Sandy,

The SCOF moderator will make clear to you the protocols for communicating on the site: how each subject is to be prefaced with the acronym 'SCOF' if it deals with subject matter pertinent to the site, i.e., SCOF: FI or Carbs? Be sure to adhere to the protocols. They allow the technique described by wtm442 to solve the problem of overwhelming e-mails new members object to.

I have asked before, but never really got a clear answer. Why doesn't SCOF have a web site similar Club Cobra? They could still be exclusive to SPF owners by having to prove SPF ownership to the moderators. I joined SCOF, but like a few others.. decided the mass Emailing thing was dumb, and closed the dedicated Email account I had been using.

I agee, a forum would be the way to go. The downside is that they would need to manage/monitor the forum, where the email list through Yahoo probably requires s lot less maintenance.

The SCOF site looks like it's rarely updated. I've looked at the technical bulletins a few times, but for the most part, I've found everything I need here or from talking to local Superformance owners.

some people love yahoo groups other hate it. I'm in the later group. There is a ton of great info on SCOF, I just find it difficult for my brain to navigate and manage that data. For me a forum style is easier, but its not mine to change. I have it set to never send me emails, i just log in and do a search when I need something. That does mean I miss important stuff, but its too valuable a resource to not have membership at all.
