Who drives their Cobra in the cold weather?

I went for drive on Saturday morning in the Cobra. No top. Brrrrrr! It was COLD! About 30 degrees.
It was actually great. Enjoyed it tremendously. All bundled up, wool hat, socks, toasty gloves and sun glasses.

Got alot of smiles from people sitting in their nice warm cars and a number of thumbs up!

Anybody else enjoy driving in the cold or tried it?

See, heres proof I can partake in other subjects!

I actually took the car out this weekend.

It was in the low 60's. Had to actually wear a sweatshirt with my shorts and bare feet.

When it gets really cold down here (high 50's) in January, we actually have to wear long pants. Still barefoot though!

Damn, I hate these cold winters!

Sometimes it gets so cold that we have to store our cars till winter is over. Usually takes about a week!

Piked up my car at FE Specialties in Sacto. last November and headed home to LA. Got to the "grapevine" on I-5 and it had snowed on the pass the night before. Stopped and put on every piece of clothing I had and headed up the pass. 38 frick'in degrees. Funny thing was that as I charged up the summit at 100+ (just to get it over with) I noticed a lot of the cars I was passing had their driverside windows rolled down, in this freezing weather. Took me about 20 minutes to realize they were seeing a Cobra coming at them and they wanted to hear it go by.
You could all most hear the wives: "Why are you rolling the window down Harold? It's freezing out" "Shut up honey, thats a Cobra".

I'll be driving mine as long as the temp is about 39 degrees, no precip and the roads are dry.
Been there, done that!

Same as Warren. As long as it's clear, I try and get out whenever I can. We get some sub-40 degree days in the SF/Monterey Bay area during the winter. Funny, the desire to drive my car in sub-40 degree weather overrides the rational side of my brain that tells me I'm going to freeze my A$$ off.

I have been out when it has been in the low 20s, that is not really pleasant. As long as the temp is around 35 or higher, it isn't too bad. But I will pretty much drive all winter as long as the roads are clean, if nothing else, just to keep all the fluids moving.

Took a cold weather ride about a week ago here in central Jersey. With the right jacket, hat and gloves it really was not too bad even with the temp around 35. Face takes a bit of a chill. I did find the tires breaking quite easily and needed to take some extra care. Plan to keep riding as long as it stays dry on the roads.
