I know quite a bit about Pacific Coast Cobra...I worked there for nearly the entire time that they existed....I ran the weld shop....did all the fabrication for the cars...from the frames, to the headers, to the gas tanks....etc...

A guy named Billy Clausen was the owner....we operated under Billy's main Co. "Custom Engineering"..

I have many cool Pics from back in the day of various Cobra's in different stages of assembly....

NO....Pacific Coast Cobra closed in early 1990.....

I met a guy the other day was at a show in Bear Mt NY, he asked me if my car was a West Coast Cobra, my answer was a dubious yes. I say this because I have seen WCC (modern ones ) built by Vern which does not fully resemble mine. He kept on looking at my car and stated to me that based on what he was seeing and the year of manufacture (1984) my WCC was in fact a Pacific Coast Cobra. He also stated that Vern purchased PCC and took the manufacturing to Canada where he resides now.

I was also sent by another forum member the instruction manual for Kellison which is very close to what my car looks like. At this point I don't have a clear proof is it a Kellison, a PCC, or a WCC. I can't find any manufacturer plate anywhere on the body of the car only the VIN #. There is a VIN# plate and model inside the engine bay that reads 65 Ford 2 door Convertible which was also on the registration that I got from the previous owner in California. This is also how it is registered in NY.

Any thoughts that could help me clarify my doubts.

My WCC was first registered in 1991 and, while there are many similarities to yours, there are some differences as well.

1. Rear Suspension: Our rear suspension appears identical, with the exception of the lower control arms. Mine are modified LCAs from the original 1978 Thunderbird axle (cut, bend, welded and reinforced in a manner consistent with that described in the Kellison build manual), while yours appear to be custom fabricated. Neither of ours appear at all like those shown on the WC Dreams Web site.
2. Roll Bar: The curves on your roll bar appears to have a larger radius than mine. Mine is 2.5" O.D. - is yours the same diameter or larger than that?
3. Engine Compartment: Biggest differences here. Mine has a chrome-plated steel box where the steering shaft exits the cockpit. I also have chrome-plated individual trim panels, where yours has what appears to be more of a continuous panel of aluminum that starts on one side then wraps around to the other side.

Yours was built in 1984, 7 years before mine, so many of these differences may have been part of the natural evolution from the original Kellison Stallion design to the WCC. The one thing that seems to be an evolutionary anomaly, though, is your lower control arms. As I noted above, mine are the same as shown in the Kellison manual, though my car is newer than yours. Have your LCAs been replaced?

I know for a fact nobody purchased PCC in its entirety... I was at the auction when all of the equipment and all of the molds were sold... Molds were sold but I'm not sure who bought them... Could have well been the guy from Canada??

I own a Pacific Roadster that I finished in 2008 while I was living in Oregon. Vui Nugen built the kits in Salem Oregon. They look nothing like the PCC body or frame in the pictures in this thread. Vui told me he had made his own molds and the frame was a 4" round tube original Cobra like frame. Mine has a Triangulated 4 link rear suspension from a Fox Body Mustang with a double arm front that use Fox spindles
