Air filter suggestions

I have a 427 (454) FE in a Contemporary Cobra and am usingthe S&M filter. I tried using a couple of different configurations but always had hood interference even with the drop down lower mounting pan. Any suggestions? I know, a pro stock hood scoop will cure my ills!!!

There should be a new photo in my gallery but it is not showing yet as I just posted it. Thanks for any suggestions.
