Go with the advice of standing up and then stepping out of the car. Otherwise you will get bit.

Remember too that the pipes stay hot for a little while and that when getting back into the car (say at an ATM [he said knowingly]) you should beware also.
A good bite will be about 1x2", be bubbly and gooey, may leave skin on the pipe, and will have people asking "what's cooking?"
