I don't think your (our) Cobras will ever be outlawed. They are old cars, and old cars are generally owned by people with wealth. Wealth equals power in this country. Some politicians will complain about waste and environmental issues, but will undoubtedly be overruled by the (in)sane folks who love their cars and car collections.
