At freeway speeds I would say that they are a tad bit noise. Having a conversation while driving at freeway speeds well, lets just say I hope you are not really into the conversation: 
Its not that bad, I like the deepness of the sound. I have heard many youtube sound clips and it is nothing like the real thing. I am using a just the muffler cobra pack 26 in. long 3 1/2 in dia.
You can always reverse the muffler against the grain to quiet the sound. The Lokar were a spiral design with a 7/8 tube in the center. Very comfortable to have a conversation.
As far as needing ear plugs I might suggest using them to be on the safe side but did not have any ringing in my ear. The CC are quieter at idle but very very deep compared to the Lokar units.
Other people always knew I had a BB but know I do. (Its always hard to please me.)  |
