At the race track everyone knows what my car is of course. On public roads it almost always get mistaken for a Cobra.:LOL:

Not sure if this counts, but, my three year old has mistaken the cobra as "his":3DSMILE:

Along that line... I had a 79 911SC... the woman at the McDonald's drive-thru window wanted to know if it was a 'kit' or 'real'.
I guess it can happen to anyone...;)

When a friend of mine's wife saw my SPF for the first time she said "it's so cute!". I asked her to please point out exactly what part of the car was cute... so I could chop it off with an axe, and burn it. :LOL:
I also used to get the "is it real?" question when I was getting fuel. It never bothered me, but I was relieved when I sold the Cobra to think I wouldn't have to answer that question for the billionth time. I ended up buying a 2000 Cobra R after selling the SPF. And go figure... every once in a while, while getting fuel, some guy will lean out his window and ask "is that thing real?".
