in log gatos, a nice lady in her 40's said , --oh what a pretty Jaguar...

Since I have the new "powered-by-ford" badges on the side and no other markings ( other than a union jack , people ask if it is a english ford.

the other one was great, "whow that is a pretty ....hey what is that?"

and the radar cop -- "what the hell is a SPCNS>?"

I had a guy in a new Ferrari ask me what type of Jaguar it was. He spent the next few minutes telling me what a big car guy he was. Amazing..never mind the cost of a Ferrari you would just think a guy who owns one would actually know a little something about performance cars.

How many times have you heard.

"I heard of those, I always wondered what a Cobra was."

"I thought Cobras were Mustangs. That doesn't look like a Mustang!"

Ozgur_Tan 01-22-2010 01:44 PM

“the Mustang was a secretary's car”

The teens all know what an AC Cobra is because of the driving games for PS3, XBOX, etc..... Most of the games have a Cobra as one of the bonus cars you have to win races in order to drive.

My poor lil Cobra's been called all kinds of stuff - Jaguar, Porsche, Corvette and MG to name only a few - but the one that cracked me up the most was when a guy I know asked me how's the Aston Martin.
