I would suggest that typecasting has no place here or anywhere else. When you speak of any group - be it the FF guys, the ERA people, the Tiger owners, or whoever - to say they are all alike is simply incorrect. As for the owners of original Cobras whose cars you won't see on the road because they might get hurt, don't include me or the other 13 people who have participated in the various tours for original Cobras over the past several years. Mt wife and I just drove both our Cobras over 1000 miles in the pouring rain on this year's "Cobra Battleground Tour" in VA and WV. You think you don't see original Cobras on the road? Guess again.

I perceive this thread as being humorous. What's a little hyperbole between CC members?
Nonetheless, I/we should be allowed to share my/our "snub" experiences on this thread. Certainly my experience(s) was/were real, though I'm aware that you can't label 100% of anyone and then plug them into one neat and tidy category.

Humor? HUMOR? Do you think there is any humor in driving an Edsel?

Tops? Who needs tops? Besides, they really don't keep the floor dry. 55 gallon trash bags over the seats, now there's the ticket. Battleground photos provided by a very wet Mr. Maxwell standing by the side of the road.

Those pics are AWESOME! I bet there are replica owner's who's cars haven't seen so much as an accidental pass through a roadside sprinkler, much less that type of precipitation!
Here's to ya Nedsel!!
P.S. - There's nothing like the smell of wet wool carpet in the mornin'!
