For the ERA I have the spare tire (knockoff available from ERA, Halibrand) which fits in the 289 "spare tire well". I found a custom Pantara billet aluminum scissor jake that is only about 1.5 inches thick when collapsed. Works with a 1/2 drive rachet and extension. Still have plenty of room in the trunk for folding chairs and such.
