I use road side assist. They usually take about 30 - 40 minutes to get out and have the lot with them. They take the wheel off and repair the tyre/tire and inflate it for you as they have all the equipment and compressors with them.
I also carry the repair in a can, but the cans we have here, have a number of warnings on speed and time to run.

I have tried all different ways to lift the Cobra and the GT40 and find as was suggested best to drive up onto a kerb/gutter or higher ground. Ford also have a small jack in their Focus here - small sedan.
