I need a composite gear for a roller cam. What are people using?

i will agree the bronze wears quickly, i have my dist. out now, 4500 mi on build and i may get another 1000 out of the gear its getting knife edged already. the MSD billet dist. i have is getting replaced by a duraspark unit, so there is a new gear in my immediate future. i take the iron will were out in a couple hundred miles to be conjecture at best.
factory cams were made from a 8620 steel blank, i would think this is a harder material that current roller cam material. some background for those who don't know 8620 from a wingbat...8620 was used in rifle recievers, ever try to machine a M-1 for a scope.......its like granite. so i am thinking to go with a iron gear. i think the quality of the helical gear means alot, if the gear is machined by a bufoon then its going to fail. i guess some investigating on my part is in order.
