That's an L88 (no slouch there). What's with the stock cars on track at the same time/race? These guys weigh about 3600 lbs. If one of them hit a sports car at speed it would be brutal.

Interestingly, I was talking to a gentlman who had staged the Cobra for the race and he said they moved into this group because they were killing the Porsche's and other cars they were classed in, which didn't make any sense to me anyways. I wasn't very interesting in the big bore class because it was mostly Corvettes and other stuff you see there, but decided to go out on the track and take pics because 2473 moved into the group. Dumb luck on my part to be at the right place.

Jamo, they sure did seem rather pronounced.

Was he under braking or trying to go on the inside of the Vette ? Either way, not a good move.

Brent- Question about the 98 car. What serial number is it ?
The rear wheel wells look to be messaged a bit with flairs ?
Any information will be appreciated.
