I agree with her, but then we wouldn't get to see that neat GrandSport.

Cranky,
You've got me down as 10% and 3%. It should be 10% and 1%.
I drive that Legends at 105% all the time.
Later dude,

Hey Cranky,
Put me down for 9%. I've got most of the components to qualify for 7%, so it's no 10% car. However with less than 100 miles on the odo, it's definitely not a 7% car.
Keep the shiney side up,
Randy R...

Cranky, pencil me in at 5%. I still drive it on the street, mostly to make sure any chamges made are track worthy. Nothing like a road course. Scott(#99).

First Win!
Hey Cranky,
I got my first class win at Road Atlanta on Labor Day weekend.
Couldn't get an overall, but with the rain and about 58 cars in our group we were just lucky to survive, especially with all the Spec Racer Fords crashing into each other. Man those rich kids in the rent-a-racers tear up a bunch of stuff.
My only damage was a bent bumper mount from some over-aggressive bump drafting.
Does that move me up to 1%?
Later,

Cranky:
When you talk about "racers" - do you mean real racers as in wheel to wheel racers or track day type wannabe racers?

Correct answer
It started out by trying to determine which guy were show guys and which guys actually put their cars on the track.
Some do open track.
Some do driving schools.
Some do time trials.
And a couple actually race in competition.
But we haven't found anyone who actually races their Cobra replicas in fender to fender competition.
Since Club Cobra is made up of mostly Replica owners, I doubt if we can find any real competition for replicas.(fender to fender)
Even the vintage circuits where real Cobras run it is not for the most part, serious competition. (no cash prizes)
So to answer your question. Wannabes.

Cranky,
Geez...I showed up a Pocono last year but did not put the car on the track (still breaking it in). I got to drive home in that deluge of rain too!! Does that qualify me for something??

If anybody on this forum is running that series they are keeping it a secret.
