My understanding is that NONE of the vintage sanctioning bodies allow aluminum Corvettes to compete!
One of the issues to me is that the definition of "vintage" varies. Some allow a "re-creations" while the West Coast "purists" require a car with race history from "back in the day". Some allow numerous modifications (you know, those 1966 GT350 R Models with 351s, rear discs and Global West front suspensions....) while others groups are trying to recreat the "feel" of a certain period.
Many have said it, "It certainly is "racing" but it sure ain't "vintage"!
