The new axles are in the mail! I'll try to get them in this weekend and through the old ones in the trailer as a spare. The new ones are much stronger. I think they will hold up alright.

Are you getting excited to make the trip again?

Any chance of bringing some of the Texas contigent with you? And I'm sure you'll do very well against other cars in your class!

Wonder how much faster that SLC would be with a Blue Oval Motor to match the color of the car

I just can't wait to see what box of parts he shows up with to make the motor faster after someone whips him. I can see him replacing fuel injectors, MAF, intake (or drill holes/jets in old one for more air), coils, etc. Then reprogramming on the laptop, that shouln't take more than half a day.
